Just finished reading "Big In China" and LOVED, loved, loved it!
My two daughters are adopted from China and we visited Beijing for the first time 2 years ago just after the Olympics (Sept 2008, you were just getting ready to leave!). I've been to China twice to adopt my kids, so have spent maybe a total of 2 months there all together and STILL feel home sick for the place if that is possible. I cannot imagine living there for several years and not hankering to go back all the time.
